DM TDM High Pressure Multistage Decoking Pump
The DM/TDM pumps are horizontal, multistage, barrel casing pumps operating at high pressure for coke removing in refineries, decaling in steel plants, water injecting in oil fields and some other similar applications. The temperature of the handling fluid may be up to 80°C and the maximum diameter of the particles suspending in the fluid should be no more than 3.5 mm with the content of 3.000 PPM at most. The pumps are designed in accordance with the requirements of API 610 7th Edition. The performances of the pumps range.

● CONSTRUCTION
DM pump is a mono casing, horizontal, sectional, multistage pumps. The tie bolts are used to fasten the suction casing, stage casings and delivery casing all together. All the stationary components are metal– to– metal connected and sealed by o-rings. The impellers are shrunk onto the shaft successively to make the rotor more rigid.
TDM pump is a horizontal, multistage pump of double casing construction, mainly accommodating barrel, cover and independent cartridge unit. The cartridge is inserted into the barrel and the cover is bolted onto the barrel at the discharge end with a gasket in between for sealing. The cartridge unit is made up by suction casing, stage casing, diffuser and rotating assembly. It is easy to remove for maintenance or repairing. The impellers are shrunk onto the shaft and axially located by retaining rings. The suction and discharge nozzles of DM/TDM pumps are all upwards.
DM pump is foot mounted while TDM pump is center-line feet suspend. The axial thrust of the rotor is mainly balanced by a double balancing device.
Bearing:
The pump rotor is supported by two multi-lobe sliding journal bearings at both ends. A thrust bearing is arranged near the journal bearing at the discharge side to limit the axial play and absorb the axial residual thrust. The journal bearings and the thrust bearings are lubricated by pressure fed oil.
Shaft sealing:
DM pumps are sealed by packing. TDM pumps may be sealed by either packing or mechanical
seals.
Driving:
The pumps are driven by motors through membrane couplings.
The pumps rotates clockwise, viewed from the driver.
